About Me
From as far back as I can remember I’ve always had a love for art and design. From my very first paint set, to copying pictures of my favourite cartoon characters, to my art and design GCSE and A-Level. I’ve always loved drawing and painting, creating something that made people go “wow”, from a very young age I got a buzz from people being impressed with what I had created.
Along with art and design I’ve always had a love for computers and gadgets and being a practical sort of chap when it came to choosing a degree decided to do IT and media rather than art and design; mainly because I wanted to loads of money as opposed to being a broke artist. My love for drawing and painting took on a different shape whilst at university; I was introduced to various software packages such as Macromedia Dreamweaver and Photoshop and was instantly hooked. Since then (sometime around 2001/2002) I’ve worked hard to perfect my craft. In 2007 I set up Retro Edge Web Design, primarily to showcase my increasing portfolio of work and with the aim of gaining employment in the web design arena.
Retro Edge Web Design has grown and grown and I’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of businesses and professionals from various sectors including small businesses, photographers, bands, hair stylists, painter and decorators, tennis coaches, b&b’s, wedding singers and so on.
