Domains & Hosting
A domain name is the unique name that is assigned to a web site. For example, www.retroedgewebdesign.co.uk would be the domain name for our site. Hosting works alongside your domain name, your web site files need to be stored on a hosts server so that they can be accessed 24 hours a day, your domain name then points to the these files allowing people access over the world wide web.
If required, I can provide a hosting package which includes registration of a .com or .co.uk domain name plus hosting for one year. If you have already registered your domain name or would like to use your own hosting company I would be more than happy to use these details.
Typically, I charge £50 a year for domain registration, hosting and administration (e-mail set up etc). I am confident this price cannot be beaten, have a look through some of the following hosting companies to compare prices.
