Project Overview

Never Paint Again are exterior textured wall coating contractors, house painting specialists and master builders since 1986.

I was approached by Never Paint Again in early 2008 and asked to revamp their exsisting web site. Unlike many of the other projects we have worked on Never Paint Again already had a strong web presence, appearing at the top of search engine results for it’s target search criteria. However, as the site was originally designed over seven years ago it was in dire need of a visual overhawl, and that’s where I came in.

I initially designed several Flash elements for NPA including a banner, photo gallery and testimonial gallery. These were added to the original site and once approved the go ahead was given to revamp everything else. This was achieved using Photoshop and CSS; a new background was added, an updated logo and CSS menu. All this was added without changing any of the site content, something that we wanted to avoid incase search engine results were effected.

Ongoing site development has included work on the CMS designed using PHP and HTML code cleanup to make the site W3C compliant.

Due to the client relocating to Spain I no longer maintain the Never Paint Again web site.
